Walking Floor Trailer
Walking floor trailers are similar to chip trailers, which have a roll out tarp to cover the top. However they have a flat bottom that is ran off of a hydraulic system, unlike the regular chip trailers. The bottom floor in these trailers are controlled by the hydraulic system, which moves the panels in the trailer back and forth. This process ends up pushing the commodity inside the trailer toward the back, where the door is open, allowing the product to fall out onto the ground. These trailers primarily haul landscape materials, but can accommodate other items as well.
